I love Christmas and the whole season that surrounds it. I feel that somehow people are happier or maybe even friendlier. This is how I wish it could be all the time. I wish all places felt like small towns and people took the time to get to know each other and really care about each other.
I am happy today that my family will be together with no work for 36 hours starting tonight at 6 pm. Life is good.
Am I completely prepared for all of tomorrows festivities, heck no but I will finish with joy in my heart and a big smile on my face because I will have some family helpers today.
The bonus of the holidays is that my siblings who live out of state will all be making appearances at different points throughout the week. I am looking forward to visiting and catching up, it will be fun.
The magic of Christmas is not lost on me, I enjoy every bit of it.
