Traveling

Off on an adventure with my family.  I am beyond excited to be on the road with my family.  Back in the summer when Nik Wallenda walked across Niagara Falls, my husband saw how amazing the falls were and it sparked a trip idea and off I went.  He also mentioned The Pro Footbal Hall if Fame.  So over the summer and right up until the week before we left I formulated a trip plan.  So here we are midway through this wonderful family trip.  We left Monday morning after dropping the laxt of our doggies off with family.  We headed to the Fiesta Factory in lNewell, WV, that stop was totally for my joy, but the kids were kind and patient while my dear husband and I picked out some wears for Thanksgiving dinner.  Then we headed on our way to Canton, OH for our first night.  We arrived in time to check in our hotel, catch a swim and workout for various family members.  We then headed out to dinner at Papa Bears on a friends recommendation and so glad we did, it was delicious.
The next morning after a yummy breakfast at our Hampton Inn, we headed over to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  We all enjoyed this stop but mostly Dave, Nolan, Aaron and Daniel got the bigger thrill.  I did learn quite a bit and Sam and I enjoyed reading and seeing photos of how the bronze busts, of each inducted player, were cast.  That would be the crafty artist in us.
After a couple of hours there and some passing of the football out on the terf field, headed out on the next leg of our journey to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is bit over an hour north of Canton, in Cleveland, OH.  This stop was also fun for all, we each had various interests and music genres that we enjoyed perusing and learning about.  It was so cool to see original sheets of paper where musicians wrote down their song as it came to them.  Of course Sam and I loved seeing all the various fashions.  My oldest son and I enjoyed learning about Les Paul.  So much to learn there and if you love music it is a worthy visit.
After checking into our hotel we found a local pub, Flannery’s Pub for some dinner and all I can say it GREAT choice on our part.  This place had fabulous service, from the greeting to our departure.  The food was excellent, with enough choices for all in our family, even the picky ones.  We left there full and happy.  We enjoyed exploring on our walk back to the hotel.  I love cities.
So here we are at today.  After another yummy breakfast we headed out and make a mini pit stop at A Christmas Story House, a family favorite movie.  We are now headed to Buffalo, NY, we will hopefully arrive by noon.  It is a cloudy rainy morning but some how rain on vacation is okay with us, but here’s hoping it stops so we can walk around, cities are fun to explore but not as much in the rain.
Peace, love and happiness.
