Here is another project we recently completed. I had been seeing lots of furniture that was painted with chalk paint and I was dying to try it, however there was no way I was going to pay $35 for a quart, I am way to cheap for that. So with a little research I found a recipe to make my own and now I am in love with chalk paint and painting things with it so here is one of completed pieces.
My dear husband, darling daughter and I all chipped in on this piece and I am beyond happy with it.
Here is the before, it was really cool before.
And here it is finished with our homemade chalk paint, sanded and sealed with wax.
