Making my own cleaning products

I have been wanting to make my own household cleaners and laundry detergent for quite some time and I finally did it.  This is so easy, you are getting a product free of gross unknown ingredients and the biggest bonus is the savings.

I will share the All Purpose Spray Cleaner I made in this post and as I need refills for other cleaners I will share those too.

I used to think I didn’t have time for these things but it is amazing what you can fit into a day especially something as easy and quick as making a All Purpose Spray cleaner.  This took me 5 minutes.
You can pick these bottles up anywhere, I think I got a pack of 3 at Costco a few years back.

I not only label my bottles but once I have the recipe I like I write that on the bottle too.  This saves time in my usual hunt for the lost recipe =D

In measuring cup combine 2 Cups warm water
1 teaspoon Borax, stir to dissolve.

Add 2 Tablespoons white vinegar (I buy this huge bottle at Costco for a bit over $3 and it goes a long way)

Add 1/4 teaspoon Lavender, 1/4 teaspoon Eucalyptus and a few drops of Tea Tree Oil.
I give this a quick stir and pour from the glass measuring cup into the bottle, the little pour spout makes this an easy task.

And now you have a beautiful smelling cleaner for your counters and pretty much anywhere else in the house.
