Making Brown Sugar

What I like about making my own brown sugar is that I can make it from my organic cane sugar which I get at a fairly good price and use a little bit of some yummy molasses and make an amazing brown sugar anytime I need it.

How many times have you been in the middle of a recipe and realized you did not have any brown sugar? For me this has happened too often.

All you need to make this is Organic Cane sugar – I get mine from Costco and Molasses.

I usually take what I need, so if the recipes calls for 1/2 cup of brown sugar, I take 1/2 of the organic cane sugar and add 1 teaspoon molasses and stir the two together until completely combined.  Keep stirring it happens.

You will get this in the picture below.  Works perfectly in any recipe.  This is one of those things that can be done so quickly that you don’t need to do it way in advance.  I make mine as I need it per recipe.
