Is it appropriate to….

live on sourdough and coffee?  So in my effort to make sourdough bread I have failed once.  I let my starter die last week.  I forgot to feed it, it was on my mind and then 20 other things would fill my head or I had to once again run the car to the repair shop, January was one of THOSE months.  Anyway so I knew it was not going to make it and I didn’t do my usual give up routine.  I promptly started a new one and yesterday in the early a.m. (it was once again day 3….um well one day delayed but honestly it is fine and the starter still works beautifully), I pulled my 200 grams and added the ingredients and after 8 hours I popped a beautiful loaf into the oven.   It came out just right even better than what my first starter had produced multiple times last go round.  I just sat with my coffee and a couple of slices of toasted sourdough bread with butter and had the yummiest breakfast.  I could live on this stuff.
